Yes, that’s a bold statement, yet, I believe it 100%! The theme of this year’s 2018 Arizona Health and Physical Education State Convention is Ready, Set, P.L.A.Y. Physical Literacy for All Youth. Physical literacy is the key to ensuring our students have their ticket to a lifetime of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We are currently accepting proposals for sessions. If you have ever thought about presenting at the state convention this is your chance. You DO have the expertise to do it, believe in yourself. We are quickly filling up all of our time-slots so if you are thinking about it, please, go for it! We already have half of the number of sessions needed to fill our schedule. We have some amazing sessions, some of our presenters coming from other countries. You will not want to miss this year’s convention. We are currently offering registration at our 2017 prices through May. Once again it will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center on October 24-26 with the 26th being a workshop day. We have 3 awesome workshops planned for you on Friday. So, again, I encourage you to submit a proposal to present a session at our state convention. The experience is invaluable and as educators, we love to learn from each other. See you in October!
