MEET YOUR 2026 KEYNOTE SPEAKER,
WILLIAM ‘MrWillPE’ POTTER!
We are super excited that Will has accepted our invitation to be our 2026 keynote speaker for the 2026 Arizona Health and Physical Education Convention on October 27, 2026, at the Mesa Convention Center.
William Potter is a Bay Area native and currently teaches physical education at Serendipity School in Belmont, California. William has been teaching Physical Education since 2002 and has been an OPEN National Trainer since 2018. In 2013 William served as the Director of theElementary Physical Education workshop. In 2019 William was honored as the CAHPERD Elementary Teacher of the Year, and was also recognized as the SHAPE America National Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2020. As a leader, served as a member of the SHAPE America Board of Directors from 2023-2026, and is a Past President of CAHPERD (2022). William believes passionately in engaging students and their families in movement-rich, inclusive Physical Education that empowers every child to move confidently, learn dynamically, and embrace a lifelong love of activity.
