The Shape America Western District and Arizona Health and Physical Education is proud to announce this year’s Western District Elementary Teacher of the Year:
- Kyle Bragg, Anasazi Elementary School (AZ)
Kyle is an innovative teacher who has spent countless hours ensuring his students feel included by emphasizing SEL within his classroom. Kyle has presented many workshops on incorporating SEL into physical education classes.
Kyle also serves on the Arizona Health and Physical Education’s Board of Directors as the Advocacy Chair where he attended Speak Out Day in Washington, DC to advocate for physical education.
Kyle now has the opportunity to be considered for the National Elementary Teacher of the Year for Shape America.
