Bring your Confidence Kits items on either Thursday or Friday and we will have a drop box for you to place them in at the registration booth. Confidence Kits does fantastic work with schools so they are a perfect partner for us. Teachers are some of the most generous people and we know you will fill the box. Confidence Kits’ mission is to provide hygiene products to organizations such as Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank, Matthew’s Crossing Meals to Grow backpack program and Destination Diploma for Chandler Public Schools, AZCEND-Chandler Community Resource Center, Helen’s Hope Chest, House of Refuge, and Gilbert, Mesa, and Higley School district Social Work Family Resource Centers which support families in need, homeless students or those in foster care (Mckinney-Vento). Our objective is to decrease medical and dental health risks while increasing self-esteem and self-confidence. Reducing hygiene insecurity will help lead to improved health, safety, and overall confidence.
With our organization, 100% of your donation will be used to purchase products that fill a Confidence Kit. A kit consists of a full-sized shampoo, deodorant, bar soap, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, lip balm, comb, hairbrush, personal cleaning wipe, razor (2), reusable kit bag, and organizational sticker.We are completely volunteer staffed.
Currently there are very few options in our area for those in need to obtain these resources, as they are not eligible for purchase with Food Stamps. We appreciate your time and consideration of this extremely important request. A donation of any amount will help us continue to meet the needs of the agencies we currently serve. In just our first year we delivered 1,020 Confidence Kits to agencies in the East Valley! Join us!
