Our convention this year begins with a ‘Kick-off Social’ at Revel Surf in Mesa at 5pm on Monday October 27th with our awards and recognition ceremony for our Teacher of the Year award Winners at 7pm. Any and ALL members are FREE to attend and able to bring up to 3 guests, also free of charge!
Then head home to rest up for our convention sessions starting at 8am on Tuesday October 28th at the Mesa Convention Center. Don’t want to drive all the way home? Our keynote speaker on Tuesday is none other than Judy LoBianco who was recognized as the National PE Administrator in 2013 and with the SHAPE America Honor Award in 2018. She was also inducted into the North American Society of Health and Physical Education in 2016. Scott Williams, Founder of Camp4, a nationally recognized leader in physical education and a passionate advocate for healthy, empowered living, as well as a sought-after keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and the US Coordinator for Omnikin. A former Golden Apple Award-winning educator, Scotty taught elementary PE for 15 years and high school summer PE for six, inspiring thousands of students through movement, mindset, and joy. Not only is Scott your Featured Speaker on Wednesday the 29th, he is also going to present three break sessions on dance and Omnikin!
