We’re so excited to welcome you to the 2026 Arizona Health and Physical Education State Convention! To make your experience smooth and enjoyable, please review these important details before you arrive.
Address for the Convention Center: 263 N. Center St., Mesa, AZ
🚗 Parking Information
- Please park in the WEST parking lot, located directly in front of Buildings B and C.
- There is ample free parking available in this lot.
- Important: The main entrance to the convention is located in Building C this year.
- The doors to Building B are not accessible from the outside, but once inside Building C, you can move freely between both buildings.
- While inside Building B, please refrain from letting people in those doors as they will be locked with signs directing them to check in at the registration desk in Building C
Registration Information
- Registration desks will be located in Building C this year , same as last year; just look for the AZHPE signs!
- There will be three lines for checking in – Last Name A-H, I-P and Q-Z – to make things go quickly, be sure to get in the right line! If you had someone else register for you and you are registered under their name, you must be with that person to check in.
- Once you are checked in, we ask that you fill out a ‘name badge’ and pick up a bag- this lets us (the board members) know that you registered and checked in.
- CEU Certificates will be handed out after the last sessions of the day.
🎟️ Daily Raffles
Get ready for some fun!
- We will be holding raffles at the end of the keynote session and in the afternoon after the last session with tons of FREE giveaways.
- When you check in, you will receive a raffle ticket – fill it out and DON’T LOSE IT! That’s your chance to win one of the great free prizes at the end of each day!
- Make sure you’re around when names are called…you must be present to win!
- We’ll also have special high-ticket items up for grabs!
- Raffle tickets for these premium prizes will be sold for $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.
- We’ll be accepting cash or Venmo on site — no credit card reader available. To save time, make sure your Venmo app is set up and ready to go…here is our Venmo QR:

🕗 Registration opens at 7:00 AM
👕 T-Shirt Pickup
- Pre-ordered T-shirts can be picked up inside the exhibition hall in Building C.
🏖️ Pro Tips for Attendees
- Dress comfortably — expect to move and participate (bring a sweatshirt just in case as some of the convention rooms tend to be chilly!).
- Bring a refillable water bottle.
- Have your business cards handy for networking.
- And most importantly — come ready to learn, connect, and have fun!

Board members will be wearing brightly colored funky headbands – and possibly other various wigs or other costumes – so feel free to seek us out and we will do our very best to help you out! We are here to serve!
LUNCH IDEAS?!?!
Keep in mind that although we are in the middle of downtown Mesa, we have only allotted an hour for lunch so that we could pack our day with as much fun content as possible! But have no fear because food trucks are HERE! We have three food trucks scheduled to be parked on Center Street (a 30 second walk from building C), and they will be ready to feed you all!
