Dear NDS members and partner friends,
- Hotel Reservations – Each of our conference hotels (see attachment) have agreed to extend until Friday, May 24, the greatly reduced room rate for the NDS conference IF they have rooms available. Because of the big beach eventSandstock, A Tribute to Rock & Roll, the hotels will be a sold out the weekend of our conference. The hotels also will accommodate the NDS conference rate a couple of days before and after the conference (if they have rooms available). These hotels are being very generous to NDS. Reserve your rooms NOW!!
- Conference Registration – If you have not registered yet for the conference (June 27-30), do so as soon as possible (see attachment). It will help out the planning committee have all conference materials prepared for you upon arrival. In addition to the great workshop sessions, there will be opportunities to get reasonably-priced professional headshot or action photos, see the acclaimed film DANSEUR, attend a concert, attend the awards recognition reception (included in the member registration), participate in a raffle for dance books, meet guest speakers/dancers, and much more. Register NOW!! Those who register soon will get information about lunch options so that you do not miss conference opportunities searching for restaurants.
- Ovation Awards – By June 3, you may order an Ovation Award (see attached) to personally thank someone who has supported you or someone you respect and want to recognize in a special way. If there are questions about this process, contact the NDS office (540-642-1041 or [email protected]).
- Poster Session – We still have spots for a poster session at the conference. Let us know if you want to share you research or program work through the poster session. Contact the NDS office or conference planning chair Mary Ann Laverty, at [email protected].
